The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Systems and Software Division, sponsored a Users’ Forum on the Application Portability Profile (APP) and Open System Environment (OSE) at NIST in May. This forum was the fifteenth in a continuing semiannual series on the NIST APP and its application to OSE. The APP Users’ Forums are designed to provide users and providers with the opportunity to exchange information and respond to NIST proposals regarding [J. Res. Natl. Inst. Stand.
